Wedding Date: Tuesday 20 December

Michiel and I met at a Karaoke bar beginning of 2008 … it was love at first song!!

The first night I saw him I told my friend that’s the man I am going to marry one day.

At first we were just very good friends, until one weekend when we all decided to go camping in winter next to a dam … and our first kiss.

We’ve been together for 4 years and married nearly 5 months.

I’ve known Darrell Fraser for years, I’ve been her make-up artist for all her studio shoots and weddings.  She’s the best photographer ever.  We did our pre-wedding shoot with Darrell which was absolutely amazing and the photos were incredible.  Darrell designed our Wedding Guest Book using our pre-wedding photos, which was so funky!

The wedding was exactly what we ever wished for … a true fairytail.

Darrell joined us at Kuthaba Lodge a day before the wedding with Nadia, her second shooter, scouting the area to make sure we will have the best photos for our wedding the next day.  Darrell’s way of capturing those special moments are so relaxed and tons of fun.  She was a big part of our wedding from beginning to end.  Never once was it necessary for me to ask her for anything or tell her what to do, as she is totally confident in her abilities as a wedding photographer, delivering photos and album designs of outstanding quality!  Our friends and family who saw our photos all commended Darrell on how incredibly talented she is in what she’s doing, she’s a great blessing in our lives.

My Wedding Dress:  I saw my wedding dress on the internet and imported it fro overseas.  Someone helped me to put the final touches and detail to the dress before the wedding (The Wedding Wardrobe)
